At the end of October, we have the opportunity to share olive oil tasting experience with our guests during a two week window of time from mid to the end of October. This is a special type of day tour in which we start with one of our amazing wine tasting visits, followed by a visit to a local family run olive oil mill, where we can see, smell and of course taste the olive oil at the mill. You will see the production line. It starts with the locals dropping off their precious hand picked olives to be weighed, before being gently washed and set upon the conveyer belt to the cold press equipment At the other end the green gold comes off the line and is poured into the stainless containers that the families have been waiting all year for. This is an once in a lifetime event to how the locals transform their olives into oil. This is such an important event for Tuscan families. A glimpse of life in Italy.
We also offer a Multi-Day, All-Inclusive Olive Oil Harvest Tour.
